My professional grounding took shape in Melbourne, Australia. Studying Commerce with a specialization in Accounting through Federation University Australia and Ozford College, I was immersed in the discipline of balance sheets, cost reconciliation, and structural audit.

Beyond lecture halls, I stepped directly into the fast-paced reality of Melbourne’s commercial ecosystem. Over seven years, I managed commercial operations, oversaw rigorous risk compliance, handled multi-million-dollar supply lines, and led multicultural teams across diverse commercial hubs.

Melbourne taught me that long before vision or marketing, a sustainable business relies on clean accounting, transparent operational rhythm, and respect for frontline execution.

Returning to Nepal with private-sector operational discipline, I entered public service within the ministerial secretariat at the Ministry of Industry in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.

This tenure provided an invaluable vantage point on governance. I worked at the cross-section of high-level industrial policy formulation, foreign direct investment coordination, bilateral trade dialogues, and special economic zone development. Bridging government agendas with private enterprise demands highlighted how subtle bureaucratic mechanics either accelerate or stifle national enterprise.

In 2018, I assumed leadership of Tyoyo Education Consultancy as Managing Director in Kathmandu. At a time when educational consulting across South Asia was frequently plagued by commission chasing and transactional promises, we set an uncompromising mandate: restore ethics, institutional transparency, and academic rigor to student advisory.

Rather than pushing students toward predetermined institutions, Tyoyo established forensic document auditing, diagnostic language assessment protocols, and personalized academic trajectory mapping. We measure our success not by applicant volume, but by post-graduation employment, visa integrity, and the enduring resilience of our alumni across Australia, the UK, the US, and Canada.

To balance the intellectual intensity of institutional consulting, I founded Chiya Baag in Mid-Baneshwor. Born out of deep reverence for Nepal’s artisanal heritage, Chiya Baag celebrates Himalayan loose-leaf tea traditions through thoughtful, slow communal spaces where conversations breathe and ideas cross-pollinate.

Alongside hospitality, I maintain private advisory dialogues with selected founders, emerging leaders, and family offices. Drawing from cross-border commerce, ministerial policy, and operational bootstrapping, I help operators identify structural bottlenecks, instill operational discipline, and navigate inflection points with calm clarity.
